Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days of receipt, or within the lead time specifically mentioned for the product on the website. Orders are not processed or shipped on Sundays or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we may contact you via email or phone.
Shipping rates and delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Free Shipping
Prices mentioned against each item are the final cost to the buyer – there are no hidden costs.
Prices quoted in Rupees are valid for delivery within India only. For delivery required outside India, kindly contact us.
Delivery to Remote Locations not serviced by courier will be shipped through India Post, at the sole discretion of Sri Bharathi Publications,.
Shipping and Handling Costs for Books
A book may attract a shipping and handling charge which will be mentioned below the price in the book details page.
Depending upon serviceability of your pin code, all orders will be shipped by India Post & Courier Service.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
You can pay by cash on delivery in all Indian cities and towns, for an additional cost of Rs. 50 per order.
Cash on Delivery is presently not available for orders for books.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Period of Delivery
The normal period for courier delivery to is between 2 to 5 business days of shipment. However, Exotic India does not guarantee any time limit of delivery. In odd instances, a consignment may be delayed due to extraneous circumstances such as, Flight delays, remote locations, etc.
Delivery of orders shipped through India Post is expected within 10 to 15 days.
Damages
Sri Bharathi Publications is fully committed to the safe and timely delivery of your order. In case of any damage to the ordered items in transit, contact us with the order details immediately. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods for inspection by the insurance company.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the courier. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
Sri Bharathi Publications will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.
Missing or Stolen Shipments
If you didn’t receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please let us know as soon as possible:
We will file a claim with the shipping carrier. Local law enforcement will be involved. We will replace or refund your order when the investigation is complete. Allow up to 21 days for the investigation.
